No experience with Lowe's but plenty with Home Depot. They adopted the same charge back stance. So has DuPont in regards to warranty repairs made by there agents without any contact for remedy made to the original fabricator. DuPont just bills you and if you do not pay you lose certification and ability to purchase product. In all cases none of this practice has been taken to court...could be great class action suit looking for a place to happen. Not a good practice for building working relationships with vendors and service providers. The contract portion is not legal in many aspects of both enforcement and agreement. We did not agree to the contract changes it was just sent to us. We are no longer doing business with Home Depot after they breached our contract with them. We had a 100% no problem record with them so we had no problems with charge backs or warranty issues. But it is like a sword hanging over you for sure. Also, notice most of the contracts have one sided advantage to the Mass merchandisers benefit. The contracts are adversarial to say the least. Provide no protection to you the vendor.
